We offer over 200 series and 1500 decors, with new designs introduced every 3 months, including 10 to 15 new series each time. These original and exclusive designs are produced in our own factory.

  • How to Install Laminate Flooring?

    • IMPORTANT:
      • Laminate flooring is installed using a patented glueless locking mechanism. Because this is a floating floor system, it should not be nailed or glued to the subfloor.
      • The floor should not be installed directly against any fixed, vertical objects (including walls, staircases, fixtures, etc.); allow a minimum of 5/16 inch (8 mm) expansion space around the perimeter of the room and any fixed objects such as posts. Use spacers included in a laminate flooring kit to achieve uniform space around fixed objects.
      • Rooms measuring wider or longer than 30 feet (9 meters) require the use of T-moldings to allow for normal expansion and contraction of the floor.
      • Be sure to stagger boards by a minimum of 12 inches (300 mm).
      • Laminate flooring should not be installed in wet areas or rooms where the relative humidity exceeds 70%.

      Materials and Tools:
      • Laminate installation kit (including spacers, tapping block, pull bar)
      • Hammer
      • Table or hand saw
      • Carbide-tipped circular saw blades
      • Vacuum
      • Tape measure
      • Duct tape
      • Age-resistant, non-permeable polyethylene vapor barrier (0.008 inch or 0.20 mm) for installation over concrete
      • Laminate underlayment
      • Safety glasses
      • Gloves

      Steps:
      1. Thoroughly clean the subfloor so that there is no debris on the floor and that it is flat and smooth.
      2. Directly onto the subfloor, lay down a layer of plastic sheeting to create a moisture barrier. Tape the sheeting 2 inches above the floor using painter's blue masking tape. If needed, use duct tape to overlap the edges of the plastic sheeting by 6 inches.
      3. Use small sections of planks as spacers to hold the flooring away from the wall about a quarter inch. The spacers help allow for expansion around the perimeter of the floor. Place the first row snug against the spacers. Trim the last row to length to fit so that it ends a quarter inch from the wall.
      4. Use the short trimmed section of the previous row to start the next row. This will ensure the joints between planks in a row are staggered from the joints in adjoining rows. The laminate flooring in this project has a soundproof backing and textured cherry wood finish. It snaps together by lining up the planks at an angle and then flattening out the row being installed. To save the edges of the flooring boards, use a piece of scrap wood to tap adjoining rows together. This will prevent damage to the tongue or groove with the hammer.
      5. When installing the next plank in the row, lift the plank at an angle to allow it to set/lock in place and tap the plank against the previous plank in the row with a hammer and tapping tool. Continue across the room until reaching the far side. Rip planks lengthwise to fit in the last row and install transition strips between the flooring and other floor types at the doorways.
      6. Remove the spacers around the border and install baseboards and quarter rounds covering the plastic moisture barrier on the wall and the gap between the wall and the flooring. Set nail heads slightly below the surface of the molding and fill with wood putty. Use touch-up paint to cover the wood putty.

  • Is Dongjia Laminate Flooring Safe For Health?

    • Formaldehyde is a significant concern with laminate flooring. Our products are tested annually by Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH (EPH) according to the European Standard EN171-1:2004 and consistently achieve an E1 level rating. We use very low formaldehyde content HDF boards, avoid phenolic resin during paper impregnation, and minimize the use of solvent inks for printing. We strictly control raw material quality, ensuring no retardants or pentachlorophenol (PCP) are present.

  • Is Dongjia Laminate Flooring Resistant to Moisture and Water?

    • We do not recommend installing the floors in kitchens or bathrooms where there are wet conditions. Water should not be left standing on laminate and should be mopped up immediately. For detailed maintenance instructions, see INSTALLATION Section.

  • SPC Flooring VS Laminate Flooring

    • SPC Flooring is a new product, fully known as Stone Plastic Composite. Laminate Flooring has been around for many years. To understand the similarities and differences between these two types of flooring, consider the following:
SPC Flooring and Laminate Flooring both offer wood-like colors and textures, creating a natural feel for your home. Both types feature click-lock installation, requiring no glue, and are suitable for both commercial and residential areas. They are generally cheaper than engineered and solid wood flooring and are easy to maintain and clean.

However, there are several differences between SPC Flooring and Laminate Flooring:

      1. Laminate Flooring has a four-layer structure, including an abrasion layer, decor paper layer, HDF core board layer, and a balance layer. SPC Flooring comprises an abrasion layer, decor paper layer, and an SPC core board layer.
      2. Laminate Flooring is not waterproof, while SPC Flooring is 100% waterproof and can be used in any area, including bathrooms and kitchens. Laminate Flooring is commonly used in living rooms, bedrooms, etc.
      3. SPC Flooring meets the E0 standard, which poses no harm to the environment, including children and pets. E1 is the most common standard for laminate flooring.
      4. Common SPC Flooring thicknesses are 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 7mm. Laminate Flooring thicknesses typically range from 8mm to 12mm.
      5. Laminate Flooring can experience thickness swelling and expansion due to heat, and contraction in cold conditions. SPC Flooring is much more stable, generally requiring only 4-5mm of expansion joint during installation, compared to 8-10mm for laminate flooring.
      6. Laminate Flooring has a wood-like texture, while SPC Flooring feels harder.

  • What Is the Minimum Order Quantity?

    • Dongjia is a specialized manufacturer of laminate flooring. We prefer to work with wholesalers, importers, distributors, and dealers worldwide. The minimum order quantity is 1x20GP container. Initially, we accept orders for up to 4 colors from the same collection in a single container.
For 8mm thickness, the loading capacity is approximately 2600-3200 sqm (with or without pallet).
For 12mm thickness, the loading capacity is approximately 1700-2200 sqm (with or without pallet).

  • What Is the Structure of Laminate Flooring?

    • Overlayer
To maintain our quality guarantee and warranty, we ensure that whether you require flooring for the home or office, it will hold up under the conditions. The standards of our wear layers are as follows: AC2, AC3, AC4.

      Decorative Paper
Integral to the look of your flooring and space, the design layer is crucial. Our design papers are printed with fine inks imported from Europe, ensuring high color intensity, zero fading, uniform color distribution, and natural-looking wood tones.

      HDF Board
Sourced from managed poplar forests, our core board density is set at 860 kg/m³. This is the optimal density for reliable lock systems and durable resistance, which can withstand heavy foot traffic.

      Balance Layer
Carefully selected to balance the pressures of the opposite wear and design layers during production, our balance paper is available in colors: brown, beige, and grey. Company branding is available for large orders.
